Robin graduated with a degree in Economics from Edinburgh University and a masters degree in Real Estate from London South Bank University.
Upon graduating, Robin worked in fixed income at Goldman Sachs, where he was part of the team running the Gilts desk. Following this, Robin moved into the real estate industry working at Colliers International, where he initially focused on the traditional, corporate, leisure, gaming and pub sectors, with a broad advisory role between tenants, landlords and banks. When appointed an Associate Director, Robin progressed into the real estate investment department with a focus on all asset classes in the UK real estate market. After five years at Colliers, Robin moved to London & Capital, a private investment management company in London, where he focused on strategy and new investment opportunities in the UK real estate sector.
Robin joined Moorfield in 2007 and is now responsible for coordinating the traditional real estate’s team’s origination, transaction analysis and execution of selected investments, as well as then working with the asset managers to ensure adherence to agreed business plans. Traditional investments are classified by Moorfield as primarily retail, office/business and industrial/distribution real estate where rent is the main income driver (as opposed to more operationally focused assets).
Robin is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
