Moorfield Group completes £15.55 million sale of Legg Street, Chelmsford to CIT
Moorfield Group has sold the freehold interest of Number one, Legg Street, Chelmsford to CIT for £15.55 million.
Number One, Legg Street, located close to Chelmsford Town Centre, comprises approximately 76,000 sq ft of offices within a modern purpose built building. The property also includes an adjoining mid 19th Century Grade II listed building and two A2 retail units. The occupiers include Lloyds TSB Bank PLC and The Secretary of State for Health.
Savills acted for Moorfield Group and Nelson Bakewell acted for CIT. Moorfield Group’s legal advisor was Herbert Smith LLP. CIT’s legal advisor was Beachcroft Wansbroughs.
