| Pythagoras International was established in 1991 and is an Anglo Swedish property and facilities information management company headquartered in London. The software development centre is in Stockholm, Sweden as are the sales and marketing group for the Nordic countries. Moorfield originally acquired a stake in Pythagoras in 1999 and increased this to a majority holding in 2003. Pythagoras offers an object-orientated based software information management solution to:
in both the private and public sectors. The main software is “Facility” which enables both graphical and alpha/numeric property information to be managed within one database. The software modules can be used for managing all aspects of the property including floor plans, space management, cost re-charging between departments, all property-related documentation such as leases, health and safety, maintenance contracts, capital expenditure planning etc. The software is web enabled and can therefore be accessed from any remote location. The efficient use of space, particularly for companies or public sector bodies with multiple locations, can significantly reduce costs and the Pythagoras software can be effectively used to achieve this objective. |
